Who’s Leading the Department of Education?
November 23, 2022
One deputy director in the Department of Education, Kristina Ishmael, tweeted out plenty of comments that put her leadership in education in question. Ranging from illogical statements like blaming fatphobia on white supremacy to concerning statements like saying “[democracy is] also built on white supremacy,” Ishmael shows that education officials are more concerned with woke, progressive ideology than advancing your child’s education.
Ishmael is a self-declared fan of Ibram X. Kendi, the "antiracist" founding director of the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research.
Kendi wrote a 2003 column about "Living with the White Race," stating, "Europeans are simply a different breed of human… They are socialized to be aggressive people… They are raised to be racist."
